Avatar World Locations Guide: Every Place, What’s Inside and How to Unlock Them?
One of the biggest strengths of Avatar World is the sheer variety of places you can visit. The game has dozens of fully interactive locations across multiple city neighbourhoods, and most players, even regular ones, have not explored all of them properly. This Avatar World locations guide covers every major location currently in Avatar World, what you will find inside each one, whether it costs anything to access, and how to unlock the ones that are locked.
New to the game? Read our beginner’s guide to Avatar World first to understand the game basics, then come back here to explore what each location offers. Once you know what is inside each place, visit our roleplay ideas guide to see how to use these locations to build stories.
How Does The Location System Work?
Avatar World is built around a city map you navigate by tapping on buildings or scrolling through the streets. Each building is a self-contained interactive environment. When you enter, the screen transitions into that space, and you can move your avatar around, tap on objects to animate them, summon NPC characters using your in-game phone, and, in many cases, trigger quests.
Locations fall into three categories:
Free locations are available from the moment you install the game, with no payment or unlock required. Most of the core city belongs here, and there is more than enough free content to keep players busy for hours.
Premium locations require a Pazu Plus subscription or a one-time in-app purchase to access. These tend to be specialty areas with exclusive content.
Quest-unlocked locations open after completing a specific quest chain or reaching a certain point in the game’s progression. These feel earned and are usually among the most interesting locations in the game.
If you want access to every location from the moment you install, no subscriptions, no purchases, no quest requirements, the Avatar World MOD APK unlocks everything instantly.
Train Station, Your Starting Hub
Free | Accessible from day one
The train station is where every player begins their Avatar World journey. It sits at the centre of the map and functions as the main hub connecting different parts of the city. From here, you can access the city’s transport system, travel to different neighbourhoods, use vending machines, and meet the NPC characters that populate the game world.
What you can do here:
- Access to trains and transport to travel between city areas
- Interact with vending machines for small item drops
- Meet and summon NPC characters to other locations
- Start the earliest exploration quests in the game
The train station is always the best place to reorient yourself if you feel lost on the map. Navigate back here and use it as your compass point.
Your Home and Apartment
Free (base) | Premium content requires coins or Pazu Plus
Your home is the one location in Avatar World that belongs entirely to you. Unlike the city buildings, which are shared spaces, your home is a private environment you design, furnish, and control completely. No other NPCs appear here unless you invite them using your in-game phone.
What you can do here:
- Place and rearrange furniture freely across multiple rooms
- Customize wallpaper, floor tiles, and room layout
- Build specific rooms, bedroom, kitchen, home office, gym, music studio, garden
- Interact with furniture items that trigger animations
- Keep and care for your pets
- Set up scenes for home-based roleplay stories
Free vs premium: The base home with a selection of free furniture is available to all players. Premium furniture, additional room expansions, and specialty decoration pieces require coins or a Pazu Plus subscription.

School
Free | Accessible from day one
The school is one of the most popular locations in Avatar World and one of the most content-rich free locations in the game. It is built for school-day roleplay and contains everything you would expect from a real school environment.
What is inside:
- Classrooms with student desks, a teacher’s board, and interactive school supplies

The school is one of the best beginner locations because the physical layout guides you naturally through a day’s structure, morning arrival, class time, lunch, recess, and end of day.
Hospital

The hospital is the most detailed interactive building in Avatar World for roleplay purposes. It received a major update that significantly expanded the space and added realistic medical equipment throughout.

Park and Outdoor Areas

Hidden Locations and Secret Areas
Beyond the named locations above, Avatar World contains a number of hidden areas and secret spots that do not appear on the main map at all. These are discovered through thorough exploration, tapping on objects that look like background decoration, opening doors that appear to be closed, or triggering specific sequences.
The game’s Avatar World secret codes page keeps an updated list of known secrets, including how to trigger the Shadow Avatar NPC, hidden treasure spots, and location-specific Easter eggs.
Things to look for when hunting hidden locations:
Doors and walls that look decorative but actually open. Many buildings have background doors that respond to tapping. If a door looks like it should open, try tapping on it.
Items placed in corners or on high shelves. Collectible items in Avatar World are deliberately placed in spots most players overlook during a quick walk-through. Slow down and check every corner of every room.
Object sequences that trigger hidden content. Some hidden features require interacting with objects in a specific order or at a specific time of day. The piano secret, the Shadow Avatar trigger, and several other hidden interactions work this way.
Seasonal-only hidden spots. During winter events, summer events, and holiday celebrations, new hidden areas appear temporarily in the city that do not exist in the base game. These are the rarest secrets in Avatar World because they only exist for a limited time.
How to Unlock Locked Locations
Complete Quest Chains
The most common unlock method. Some locations, including the wedding salon, are gated behind specific quest chains. Work through your standard quest pool and the game will notify you when completing a quest unlocks a new area. For the full quest system breakdown, see our quest guide.
Pazu Plus Subscription
Premium locations are accessible for the duration of your Pazu Plus subscription. If you cancel the subscription, premium-only access may be restricted again.
Seasonal Events
Some locations only appear during active seasonal events and cannot be permanently unlocked. The summer island extension and certain winter areas work this way; they are accessible while the event is running, then removed until the next event cycle.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Every Location
Populate every location with NPCs before starting a scene. The in-game phone’s contacts list lets you summon any character to your current location. An empty hospital feels flat; a hospital with patient NPCs in recovery beds, a nurse at reception, and a doctor in the surgery room feels like a real environment. Take 30 seconds to populate locations before starting roleplay.
Tap on everything, especially background items. Avatar World’s locations are deliberately dense with interactive objects. Many items that look like background decoration are actually tappable; they trigger animations, sounds, or occasionally quest completions. Make this a habit in every new location.
Use the reset button to clear NPC positions. If you have summoned NPCs across multiple locations and the city feels cluttered, go to the world map and tap Reset in the top left corner. This sends all NPCs back to their starting positions across the city. Use this at the start of each session for a clean slate.
Visit seasonal locations during active events. Events transform existing locations as well as adding temporary new ones. Your regular locations look and function differently during winter events, summer events, and holiday celebrations. Visiting familiar places during events consistently reveals new interactive content you have not seen before.
Use the food delivery app for dining scenes. Inside any location, the food delivery app on your in-game phone lets you order food items delivered to your current spot. This adds interactive props to café, restaurant, and home dining scenes that would otherwise require the standard furniture to set up.
Final Thoughts
Avatar World’s location variety is one of its best features and the main reason players stay engaged far longer than they expect to. Between free locations covering school, hospital, home, mall, salon, park, farm, and beach, and premium locations adding wedding venues, specialty areas, and seasonal environments, there is always somewhere new to explore or a familiar location to visit with fresh eyes.
The key to getting the most from every location is slowing down. Tap on everything, summon NPCs, look in corners, and visit again during events. The players who feel like they have seen everything Avatar World has to offer are almost always the ones who moved through each location too quickly. There is always something more to find.
